The 2021 / 2022 Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult, child and infant patients. The course emphasizes active, hands-on learning and uses scenario activities to help participants learn how to provide CPR, use an AED and relieve an obstructed airway for adult, child and infant patients.

Online + Classroom:

1.5 Hours online course + 2.5 Hours in-person (approximated)

This class is taught in a blended learning format. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the instructor-led skills session.

Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a 2-year Basic Life Support digital certificate with anytime, anywhere access to certificate and training history.

Certifications take 2-3 business days to receive electronically via email, directly from the American Red Cross.
