Focus Health's Policies have been carefully established in an effort to follow American Red Cross training guidelines and to further support our instructors and training partners.

Focus Health reserves the right to cancel classes if Red Cross course minimums are not met. In the event a class is cancelled, registered participants will be offered a different class at no additional charge.

VIRTUAL EQUIPMENT RENTALS:

Equipment rentals are currently available for remote-virtual CPR classes only. We will ship a training kit directly to your home or business prior to your class. You will return it with a FREE pre-paid postage (within 4 days) after your scheduled Zoom or Google Skill Session. Note that American Red Cross Certifications will not be processed until the kit RMA return label has been scanned by the shipping carrier. Please obtain a receipt for your records.

VIRTUAL RENTAL INSURANCE:

Basic equipment insurance is included with equipment rentals. This covers any normal wear and tear determined by our administrators. Excessive damage or loss will require the renter to purchase the training kit at the full retail rate (one complete kit = $360.00) In the event that this is required, Focus Health has explicit approval to charge and process a credit or debit card on file, unless an alternative payment method is supplied.

VIRTUAL RENTAL LENGTH:

4 DAYS are allotted for all equipment rentals. The length of the rental is calculated starting on the day your class is scheduled and ends when the shipping carrier scans the return RMA shipping label. The late fee rate for any additional outstanding days is $6 per day. After 14 days outstanding, the renter may be charged the full retail rate above. Please note that Focus Health has explicit approval to charge and process any credit card on file for any fees resulting from outstanding rental returns. Note that American Red Cross Certifications will not be processed until the kit RMA return label has been scanned.

RETURN SHIPMENTS:

Only the supplied RMA Return Label may be used. If lost (or not received) please contact us to send you a new Return Label free of charge. We always recommend requesting a drop-off receipt for your records.

Upon registration, please confirm that a correct shipping address is supplied. Participants/ clients providing incorrect addresses resulting in lost OR returned packages will be charged for the full retail rate above, or any additional shipping charges.

VIRTUAL TIMEZONES:

Please be aware of the timezone of your selected course. Missing a course could result on the NO-SHOW policy below.

7 DAY VIRTUAL CANCELLATION POLICY:

A $25 Cancellation Fee plus any shipping charges will be charged for all appointments cancelled prior to 7 days before scheduled video skills session. No cancellations are allowed within 7 days of scheduled appointments. If you must cancel, please contact our main office directly (323)454-2008 or contact@focushealthco.com

AMERICAN RED CROSS CPR VS. BLS:

Please note that CPR courses do not satisfy BLS (Basic Life Support) requirements for Healthcare Providers. Prior to registration, please confirm the type of course you need and that American Red Cross (vs AHA) is accepted by your organization. All cancellation policies will apply.

72 HOUR RESCHEDULE POLICY:

In addition to any extra rental day fees (see rental length policy above), a $50 Reschedule Fee will be charged for all appointments rescheduled within 72 hours of your scheduled class. If you need to reschedule, please see your confirmation email or contact our main office.

VIRTUAL NO-SHOW POLICY:

If a registered participant is a “no-show” and absent from their scheduled class, the participant will not receive a refund of any kind. The class may only be rescheduled with the $50 reschedule fee (plus any additional shipping & handling fees if the equipment was returned.)

CERTIFICATION CARD POLICY:

Your Certification card will be processed once your RMA Return Label has been scanned and entered into the database. Most certifications take 2-3 business days to receive electronically via email, directly from the American Red Cross. Please make sure to check your spam and promo folders.
