Virtual Rental Policy
VIRTUAL EQUIPMENT RENTALS:
Equipment rentals are currently available for virtual classes only. We will ship a training kit directly to your home or business prior to your class. You will return it with a FREE pre-paid FedEx postage (within 4 days) after your scheduled Zoom Skill Session.
VIRTUAL RENTAL INSURANCE:
Basic equipment insurance is included with equipment rentals. This covers any normal wear and tear determined by our administrators. Excessive damage or loss will require the renter to purchase the equipment at the full retail rate (one complete kit = $356.49) In the event that this is required, Focus Health has explicit approval to charge and process the credit or debit card on file, unless an alternative payment method is supplied.
VIRTUAL RENTAL LENGTH:
4 DAYS are allotted for all equipment rentals. The length of the rental is calculated starting on the day your class is scheduled and ends when the shipping carrier (FedEx) scans the return RMA shipping label. The late fee rate for any additional outstanding days is $6 per day. After 14 days outstanding, the renter may be charged the full retail rate above. Please note that Focus Health has explicit approval to charge and process the credit card on file for any fees resulting from outstanding rental returns.
Focus Health has partnered with FedEx to manage, deliver and return all virtual training kits. Only the supplied FedEx RMA Return Label may be used. If lost (or not received) please contact us to send you a new Return Label free of charge. We always recommend requesting a FedEx drop-off receipt for your records.
Upon registration, please confirm that a correct shipping address is supplied. Participants/ clients providing incorrect addresses resulting in lost packages will be charged for the full retail rate above.
VIRTUAL TIME ZONES:
Please be aware of the time zone of your selected course. Missing a course due will result on the NO-SHOW policy below.
VIRTUAL CANCELLATION POLICY:
A $25 Cancellation Fee plus any shipping charges will be charged for all appointments cancelled. If necessary, please cancel PRIOR to your scheduled course to avoid the NO-SHOW policy. If you must cancel, please contact our main office directly (323)454-2008 or firstname.lastname@example.org
AMERICAN RED CROSS CPR VS. BLS:
Please note that CPR courses do not satisfy BLS (Basic Life Support) requirements for Healthcare Providers. Prior to registration, please confirm the type of course you need and that American Red Cross (vs AHA) is accepted by your organization. The $25 Cancellation Fee above will apply.
24 HOUR RESCHEDULE POLICY:
In addition to any extra rental day fees (see rental length policy above), a $25 Reschedule Fee will be charged for all appointments rescheduled within 24 hours of your scheduled class. If you need to reschedule within 48 hours, please contact our main office.
VIRTUAL NO-SHOW POLICY:
If a registered participant is a “no-show” and absent from their scheduled class, the participant will not receive a refund of any kind. The class may only be rescheduled with the $25 reschedule fee (plus any additional shipping & handling fees if the equipment was returned.)
CERTIFICATION CARD POLICY:
Your Certification card will be processed once your FedEx RMA Return Label has been scanned and entered into FedEx's database. Most certifications take 2-3 business days to receive electronically via email, directly from the American Red Cross. Please make sure to check your spam and promo folders. Focus Health Co. reserves the right to cancel classes as needed. In the event a class is canceled, registered participants will be offered a different class at no additional charge.
