COVID-19:

The health and safety of our training community is our highest priority. If you are sick, or have been ill within 48 hours, please reschedule PRIOR to your scheduled in-person course. Face masks are optional but please follow local guidelines.

ACTIONS:

Based on CDC and American Red Cross guidance, all of our instructors and locations are taking additional steps to clean and disinfect equipment. We are limiting class sizes and using extra precautions to ensure your safety.

CPR & BLS CANCELLATION POLICY:

A $25 cancellation fee will be charged for any appointments cancelled. If necessary, please cancel PRIOR to your scheduled course to avoid the NO-SHOW policy below. If you must cancel please contact our main office directly (323) 454-2008 or contact@focushealthco.com

LIFEGUARD COURSE CANCELLATION POLICY:

Students who pay in full for classes are entitled to a partial refund only if they cancel their class within 48 hours of their purchase date. All refunds that are approved will incur a 25% administrative fee. This means that the participant is only eligible for up to 75% of the purchase amount after this 48 hour purchase period.

After this date the customer will not receive a refund but will be allowed to transfer the credit paid for the next available class for an administrative fee of $30.00 per person transferred.

No cancellations can be made within 24 hours prior to the start of the course, and no refunds will be granted to anyone who attempts to cancel their course within 24 hours prior to class start date.

Any customer who purchases a course within 24 hours prior to the start date agrees that their purchase sale is final.

24 HOUR RESCHEDULE POLICY:

A $25 reschedule fee will be charged for any appointments rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled class. If you need to reschedule within 24 hours, please contact our main office.

CPR VS. BLS:

Please note that CPR courses do not satisfy BLS (Basic Life Support) requirements for healthcare providers. The $25 cancellation fee above will apply for any cancelled courses.

AMERICAN RED CROSS VS AHA:

Prior to registration, please confirm the type of course you need (CPR vs BLS) and that American Red Cross (vs AHA) is accepted by your organization.

NO SHOW POLICY:

If a registered participant is a no show and absent from their scheduled class, the participant will not receive a refund of any kind. The class may only be rescheduled with the $25 reschedule fee.

CERTIFICATION CARD POLICY:

Most certifications take 2-3 business days to receive electronically via email, directly from the American Red Cross. A $15 fee will be charged if a participant requests a certificate to be issued within 48 hours of registered class.

FAILED COURSE POLICY:

There is no refund for any student who does not pass a course. If a student does not pass, they will not be granted any form of refund, and would need to re-enroll for a course.

VISITOR POLICY:

Only registered class participants are allowed in the classroom during training. Children are not permitted unless they are registered in the course.

ONLINE-ONLY COURSES:

Please note that there are no refunds allowed for online-only classes. Once an online-only class has been purchased, a link to access the Red Cross class will be issued shortly after.

NOTE:

Focus Health reserves the right to cancel Red Cross classes as needed. In the event a class is cancelled, registered participants will be offered a different class at no additional charge.
